Protest and March Against the Passage of Question One

TONIGHT (Friday) - Meet in Congress Square in Portland, Maine at 5:30 p.m.
(Corners of Congress and High Streets, by the Eastland Hotel)

Members of the Greater Portland community are protesting the stripping of
rights, dignity, and relationships from the LGBT community with the repeal
of Maine's marriage law for same-sex couples.

Protesters are standing to say that this is not fair and that human beings
should not be treated this way. That life will not resume to normal, until
it may be normal for everyone. Protesters will be marching to stand up and
say that this is OUR civil rights movement and that we will not stop
fighting until all people are recognized as equal in the eyes of the law.

This is a venue to express disappointment, loss, anger, sadness over the
loss of basic civil rights for ALL Mainer's.

This will be a non-violent demonstration. Feel free to bring signs and other
materials. Dress warmly.

Moving back

Aug. 20th, 2009 | 01:49 am
mood: creative

So as most of you know I have been on an odd sabbatical, well I am moving back to the area (some of you scream in terror other laugh at the people screaming). I will be out to goth night on friday the 28th then I will be tucked away in School work and home organization for a wile. It has been a long time since I will have a space that is my own so I am going to bask in the Stench that is me, but I have to give MAD PROPS to the Shields family for letting me carve out a nich from there property to call home. Good friends are hard to come by but true friends are even harder to find, if your as lucky as I am then you understand.

Death of an Elder

Well some of you have known my 89 year old grandmother was sick well she has passed after a week of hanging on.  I will be in Portland beginning of the week and will be drinking to my memories.    I do have to say, I have seen some deaths in my life hers was smooth, she was crazy for half her life but I would call it normal; I mean she did not really know she was sick  so that was a plus, she thought we were all visiting for her birthday.

Just a quick consumer warning for those that shops online for auto parts.

To my online Peeps;

The following statement has be brought upon by the company’s inability to communicate with a customer

The below online parts company has one of the worst customer service departments I have ever dealt with, I have dealt with no one will talk to you about your issue with being 3 weeks late on shipping, no one would like to fix the incorrect order issue or explain why when you purchase a certain quality part and receive a lower quality, However I believe this is the first one that has mastered the ability to do all three.

I have sent numerous e-mails to the customer service department with no response, I have called the customer service department and came away with a manager e-mail also with no response. I was even told send it back at my expense and they will see what they can do.  I have a feeling if I send it back I will never hear from them again or get a return.  I am posting to all my blogs so that I can warn everyone to stay away from this company.

    Sucks

Oliver Twist

Nov. 13th, 2008 | 01:32 pm
mood: irritated irritated

So I am currently watching the BBC's rendition of Oliver Twist and I thought to myself why is it that the BBC can make a low budget TV show,  stay to the book and still make it entertaining, wile American TV has such a High Budget and makes so much CRAP!

Just thought I would vent a little.
